First Book Purchased After Slavery, Frederick Douglass, University of Rochester, New York

Enjoying your weekend?  We hope these links make your day a little more interesting!

New features:

Other news:

  • We basically spent the week recovering from our book launch, attending to our Artist Residency at the Bubbler, and remembering all that other work we have to do for our paying jobs.  So, not a lot of project news.
  • OH, but our book was featured on Book Riot, which is NO BIG DEAL, WE’RE NOT FANGIRL FREAKING OUT OR ANYTHING.  Super big thanks to Margret Aldrich for writing that post!

Desert Library in ChinguettiFun stuff:

Sometimes the pictures I choose end up taking on a theme I didn’t intend.  I guess this week’s theme is REALLY old books.  So it makes me wonder – how do YOU feel about really old books?  How do they inspire you?  What do they make you think of?  Let us know in the comments or on Twitter & Facebook!

Wishing you an inspired and creative week ahead! ~Katie
